This? This is Sky Sharks. Once it has been seen, it can't be unseen:

It's like someone has set out to make twenty some years of bad CGI and make it all look cutting edge. I am in terrible awe of this movie.

Currently trapped between this reality and the next battling rabid stuffed alligators in order to keep you all safe. Ingrates.

Wow, yeah for sheer bat-guano insanity and horrible CGI looks like it can't be beat! Only gripe I'd have is the Nazis again? Personally I'd have more fun with a scrapped Soviet project that they thought was shut down with the collapse of the USSR that got loose. 'Soviet Sky Sharks' has a good ring to it.

The only real problem with that is that the Sovs weren't really known for doing wacky science experiments, that whole thing with the 'breeding ape-men for Stalin' aside. And of course Lysenko and all the other sciences they banned for not being 'politically correct', but the results of those were usually too grisly for what ought to be a light-hearted film like this one.

I also noted that the film was apparently completely funded via Kickstarter. Here's hoping that KS manages to fund more and better films in the future.

You do have a good point, I was thinking Lysenko but they were working on stuff like breeding a strain of wheat that would grow in colder temperatures- not all that wacky. Yes, the Nazis were friggin' insane. Just seems they pop up in every other movie, book, game, etc now and like zombies I'm just sorta bored with them.

Related to flying sharks, I understand that Sharknado: the 4th returns will be hitting the small screen this July 31st. This time, the sharks are eating las Vegas.
