This is the first look we've had at the new Toho Godzilla, Godzilla Resurgence. It's design is based on the 1954 original, which you can see certain aspects of it in the face. The teeth are a bit much for me, but those eyes! Brrr. They outdo Giant Monster All Out Attack's Godzilla in the creepiness scale.

Until we see it in motion, it's not fair to judge. Still, I think this is shaping up to be a very interesting looking film.

....not sure what to think of that. It's pretty creepy-looking; rather a departure from previous designs. It actually makes me think of the updated Red King from "Ultraman: The Ultimate Hero," which is a very unfortunate comparison.

Of course, I'm still hotly anticipating this. It's Godzilla, after all.
