So is "sea monster" an accepted taxonomic classification now,separate from dinosaur? I would have assumed that a dinosaur that lives in the sea would by default be considered a sea monster.

And then of course you did have giant fish like dunkleosteus and megalodon. Even Archelon ischyros the giant sea turtle!
