Like that shot, but this one shows the monster better, and one should always pay due homage to a nice rubber suit.

The second nastiest death in the Cohen canon, I think. Films weren't quite as nihilistic back in the day (although the cracks really started after Psycho), so this one really had an impact on me as a kid. Still does, I guess.

From a script by Ed Wood. Seriously. Never seen this, but it's available on the Web in its entirety, and I think is on some of those Mill Creek megasets. I doubt at this point a clean copy of the film will ever pop up, but you never know.

The first truly iconic image of cinema? Quite possibly. Hard to believe this film is now 110 years old.

Not to shock the hell out of anyone, but this is my favorite pic of the week.

Truly a pioneer of cinema, Méliès was one of the first to exploit the eerie uncanniness of skeletons. And jazz hands. Dance ten, looks three.
