I'm thinking they had a lot of fun designing these monsters. And they have a real mythic feel, what with the mixing of different kinds of animals. I like how the scientist is pointing out the fight. Otherwise I'm sure she never would have noticed it.
This is a nice addition, since it adds super-science to the post-apocalyptic landscape. I wonder if this was a leftover of a previous age, or the work of a contemporary mad scientist.
As noted previously, I'm a tad distracted right now, and I have a ton more of these Samson covers in place, so we'll go with them again. They are pretty sweet. This is a reprint of the cover for issue #7, used as the cover of the first of the Dark Horse Archive reprint…
I liked Grabbers a lot, but man, this film was tremendous. I was depressed when it did so poorly here because they just doesn't seem to be a market for monster movies anymore. Hopefully Godzilla will change that.
Not as many Brit monster movies as you'd like, so I had to stretch back a ways. It's hard for me to think I haven't done this one before, but even so, it's pretty sweet, even if I had.
