Speaking of weird celebrity appearances, Friday’s Discord movie was Door to Door Maniac (1961), starring a (fairly) young Johnny Cash as a killer and, far less entertainingly, rapist. His victim was played by the woman who wrote the script, and her husband directed it. Vic Tayback and a young Ronnie Howard also starred. The sexual assault goes on for a while. Pretty tough meat for 1961, but hardly pleasant to watch.
