I hope I'm not the only one who loves the pulp covers featuring octopi, because I really the MoDs have featured a goodly lot of that.

"No, I *don't* want to hear about how tough your day was. OK, I'm a jerk. Don't give me that look; I'm dealing with something over here."

Notice the land octopus is the one who looks scared here, and I don't blame him. If I saw that psycho running around with a shotgun and butcher's knife, I'd be trying to shield myself too. The last time I saw a guy looking like that he was trying to kill Reid Fleming.

"Well, there's your problem."

I actually had bought this comic as a kid. I think you can probably guess why. It wasn't as exciting as the painted cover promised, but then, it was a Gold Key comic. I'd love to have that original painting, though.

Good grief! Doesn't that guy know plesiosaurs were enraged by golf pants?!
