Monster of the Day

Well, there goes the neighborhood. Happy (??) Monday, everyone!

  OK, let's try the giant cat thing again. I don't *think* this is a repeat. Is it? I don't know anymore. Anyway, yeah, that would suck.

When I saw this cover, I really assumed it was a modern piece meant to replicate the feel of an old cover. To my surprise, this is actually a comic book cover from 1951.

"Why do all these creepy men keep leering at me?!" Yay, Friday! Whew!

This is another one I've sure I've posted before, but damn, that's fun. The monster face looks a little Basil Wolverton-y, but not the rest of it, so I don't think so. No monster, but at least here's a new cover.

Who wouldn't buy "The Aristocrat of Science Fiction"?   I'm not a space engineer, but I suspect any space suit that requires a helmet probably shouldn't have a boob window. Also, is that the most efficient way to chase/attack a single person?

My first thought was "what a goofy cover," but my second thought on reflection was "Yikes!!"  Also, nobody likes to have their Safety Dance interrupted. The Olympics add new events all the time (hence the adorable 13 year old who won a Gold Medal in Skateboarding). Some of the proposed ones for Olympics 2438…

They finally chase it off with a gigantic water sprayer.
