Moose was the dog that played the more traditional werewolf who bit Lawrence Talbot in The Wolf Man. (Meaning Moose was playing Bela Lugosi.) Chaney loved the dog and became his owner. Sadly, Moose died during the production of Universal's Cobra Woman when he was run over by a truck.
