The rip-off so blatant Universal was literally able to legally bar it from playing in this country. And so it remains roughly 40 years later. Not as bad as yesterday's film, but no classic. Mostly notable for mixing two iconic '70s film genres; killer fish and political paranoia thrillers.

"...in Boredom!" The Golden Rule of Schlock Filmmakers: If your movie sucks, make sure your poster is cool. And bonus points if you can blatantly rip off one of the most famous film posters of all time.

Surely the knife's just pro forma; the guy can tear apart Uboats with his bare hands.

You know, I think a lot of these octopi were just minding their own business. Also, what a wuss Buck Rogers is. Everyone else uses a knife.
