Monster of the Day

This guy, like Groot or Fin Fang Foom, got incorporated into the larger Marvel universe, especially as an early Defenders villain. He wasn't my favorite, but you can always tell a Gil Kane piece right off.

To be fair, with that name he never had a chance. And I admire that fellow's optimism, but I don't think that .38 is going to get the job done.

Three years ago when The Avengers came out, I posted some Marvel monster covers. Now Avengers 2 is out, so hey, why not. And obviously we'll start with the work of the King. I will say that grog has killed a lot of men. Oh. Grogg. Never mind.

It will be a short week as I'm leaving for Houston on Wednesday. I'll see some of you in Dallas this weekend. Anyway, might as well stick with Voyage monsters.

Man, just from looking at the monsters you'd think this was a much better show than it was. Still love the Seaview, though.
