Monster of the Day

The #1 reason to hate Neverending Story (aside from Lionel Hutz' lawsuit against it): It gave us Jar Jar Binks.

I didn't have anything planned, so we might as well continue with Neverending Story.

Not a monster per se, but appropriate to the day. Have a great weekend, everyone.

Second, congratulations to Best Host in the World Sandy Petersen, for another successful Kickstarter with the second edition of Cthulhu Wars. He raised just over a million bucks. Have to admit, I didn't love this, or the two Hensen puppet movies, but hey, different strokes for different folks.

A very good job of representing the monsters accurately while not revealing that they are basically made of garbage bags. Mr. Kallis must have used a model for the woman like the one in the foreground, because otherwise not emphasizing Yvette Vickers more seems inexplicable.

Plus he was wearing a shirt with girlie pictures on it.

I think I actually like Mr. Kallis work better in the widescreen lobby card format.

That guy painted a mean skull, I'll say that.
