I'd never even heard of this film that I'm aware of. However, it was featured in the simply massive survey of 70s and 80s exploitation flicks Nightmare USA, which I'm currently reading during lunch hour at work. The film is in color, this image is from a lobby card.
They tend not to be big in theaters, but they do occasionally still make monster movies. This one's on Amazon Prime, I think, so I should probably give it a look.
