Weird War Tales proved a big or at steady hit for DC, given it's robust 12 year (!) run. Of course war comics were generally pretty solid sellers until recent decades, and covers like this certainly couldn't have hurt the book.

Surely one of the strangest (and most enduring) mash-ups was DC Comics' Weird War Tales. You get the general idea from this cover, I'm sure. It ran for years, and in fact, I'll probably just feature it next week, because there's a lot of material. In the meantime, have a great weekend, everyone.

Perhaps because The Heap was so popular, his eventual host comic would occasionally feature its main character fighting monsters. One of these, of course, featured a dinosaur.
