Saw this over the weekend, a very fun Irish film in the mold of Tremors. I can highly recommend it as a rare, fully successful modern day monster movie.

Man, there are a TON of these terrific covers. I could seriously do Mighty Samson covers for a month straight. I mean, again, look at that thing, it's gorgeous. This is one of the weirdest. I guess we're l0oking at the product of mad science?

  Issue #4 experimented and used a cover sans monster. I can only imagine there was an immediate sales dip, because it would be a loooooooooooong time, if ever, before beastie-less cover art was used again. #5 went back to basic, while also expanding the weirdness.

Yesterday's monster was evil, this one highly sympathetic. They needed to destroy it, but you really feel sorry for the creature, which as you can see is extremely cute.
