One of the comparatively few monster movies based on a Stevie Wonder song. Update: Folks legitimately pointed out there was nothing specifically monster-like about the above still. The second nastiest death in the Cohen canon, I think. Films weren't quite as nihilistic back in the day (although the cracks really started after Psycho), so this one really had an impact on me as a kid. Still does, I guess.
