Shout! Factory to Release Two MGM Sci-Fi Sets!
It is come to our attention that up for pre-order on Amazon.com are two science fiction DVD collections from Shout! Factory containing classics from MGM’s vault of AIP and UA titles (some, never before on DVD). Both are set for release on September 3 (and retailing for under $10 each), the two collections are “Movies 4 You – Sci-Fi Classics” which will include THE MAN FROM PLANET X, BEYOND THE TIME BARRIER, THE TIME TRAVELERS and THE ANGRY RED PLANET as well as “Movies 4 You – More Sci-Fi Classics” which will include THE AMAZING TRANSPARENT MAN, REPTILICUS, THE NEANDERTHAL MAN and THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN’T DIE. No further details yet, but THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN’T DIE is reported to include a bonus scene which was deleted from International prints! later date.
