Ken_Begg I believe you meant to ask, “Why doesn’t *every* ape have Conway Twitty hair???” Flangepart I think she was after the ‘beehive’ look, but the stylest got all flustered. So she ate him. QUEEN KONG, right? Ericb I didn’t know that Ted was a remake. David Fullam Queenie! Ericb Hmm, as I don’t know where yesterday’s monster was from but as both Konga and today’s giant ape are from British films I’d hazard a guess that maybe this is British Ape Week on MotD. Ken_Begg Sadly, I don’t have enough Brit Apes to fill out a week. Yesterday’s beastie was Mammoth Kong, from an episode of the venerable Japanese TV show Gekko Kamen. Gamera977 Any relation to Donkey Kong? Gamera977 OMG, it does have boobs, yow! bgbear_rogerh The inflatable ape works for car dealers and furniture stores but, does not seem to help community college enrollment. Rock There are times when I question my dedication to obscure monster movies. What little I’ve heard about QUEEN KONG doesn’t make me all that eager to see it. This does remind me, though, when 2005’s travesty KING KONG was released, I was looking forward to the flood of giant-ape knock-off movies with big rubber suits. I didn’t get any, and I still feel ripped off by that. The lack of giant monster ape movies might have been easier to take had Peter Jackson not taken my childhood hero and turned him into a mad man. That was just a bad year for me. Ericb I’m just glad QUEEN KONG didn’t end up being a porno flick. Judging from the picture that seemed a possibility. skrag2112 Fake! You can see the strings!
