T(ween) Fest 2012 doth approach!!

A typical Texan; in this case, Kirk Draut.

Two weeks from Saturday on March 24th, in Dallas per usual. We’ll be congregating at the Barking Lizard offices that hosted the last few Fests.

We’re hammering out the schedule now, but we’re trying to focus on an entire slate of established, well regarded stuff. Sort of a greatest hits approach (albeit by our own, shall we say, eclectic standards), with, for good or ill, less “let’s try this one no one’s heard of.”

Sandy has reported he has his next quiz ready to go.

Open to all, if you want to come, you’re more than welcome. Details to follow, and feel free to email me at ken@jabootu.com should the mood strike you.

  • Ken, did you ever get that scan I sent you? I never heard back.

  • Mr. Rational

    Woo hoo!

  • The Rev.

A “greatest hits” approach, eh?  It’ll be interesting to see what that ends up entailing.

  • Ken_Begg

Well, OK, maybe not a ‘greatest’ hits, but certainly a ‘great’ hits. Although again I don’t speak for Sandy’s zombie movie. Otherwise, it’s pretty strong stuff, and there are definitely some more familiar, beloved titles this time. Fewer real obscurities, though. We’ll see how it flies.

  • Oh, god, not “Double Agent 73” again…

  • Oh, god, not “Double Agent 73” again…

  • Actually, I tend to carry one revolver and one autoloader.

  • Mr. Rational

This is why I like Kirk.  Even though I’m pretty sure this isn’t true, just him saying it is a little slice of awesome.

Ask Ken about the fender-bender a few years back.
