    ??????? You get up into the 80s and my familiarity with cinematic creatures drops off sharply. This is a case in point.

    I’m pretty sure this guy is from “House.” Erm, the 80’s Steve Miner flick, not the Hugh Laurie television show.

    I could be mistaken, but I believe that this guy first appeared in Evil Dead II, and then also in House and Army of Darkness.

    I always thought they looked like the same critter, anyway. It also inspired the mascot for New York thrash band Overkill, but that probably doesn’t count.

    There is a similar critter in the opening sequence of EDII, but that came out after House. I don’t remember anything like it in AoD…
