Per the IMDB:

“Hollywood hunk Ben Affleck has signed a $1.8 million deal to be the face of popular British deodorant Lynx. The Jersey Girl star, whose new wife Jennifer Garner is expecting their first child this year, will appear in TV advertisements directed by Danny Klienman. Affleck has previously starred in ads for Burger King as a child actor and L’Oreal Elvive hair products in 2003.”

Nearly two million bucks! Amazing.

  • I’m amazed that Ben Affleck gets paid at all. Except by other actors to stay out of their movies.

    I mean, I don’t personally hate him or anything, but his acting skillz seem to be limited to “affable lunkhead.” The only thing he has is name recognition, but then, so does the common cold.

    Hey, if it keeps him out of films for the duration, I’d say $1.8 million is a bargain. But we’re not that lucky; Jabootu will beckon him back before the movie cameras soon, no doubt.

  • I like him better when he’s playing bad guys. He’s got this whole Steve Suave thing going that it meshes perfectly with an evil character.
