I tend to forget how many random ’80s movies had monsters, including a lot of stop animated beasts. 1984’s Dreamscape stars Dennis Quaid as a guy who can enter the troubled dreams of others, including those of the President of the United States (Eddie Albert!!!). The big bad in the movie is the Snake Man, achieved by a mix of prosthetics and stop animation. Good stuff.
