Hey, everyone! Sorry for the late notice. I got back home late (for me, anyway) Tuesday. My trip to Dallas marked two trips nearly back to back, and of course I am way behind at work due to my twin absences. Frankly, I’m beat. Oh, and I have a out of left field social event tomorrow night that I can’t really dodge, so my plans to lock the door behind me this weekend have already gone awry.
We’re still planning to do the fall T-Fest in Utah (Provo). However, we already, as the Bergmans especially might be interested to learn, had two people offer their homes up for future Fests. Serial joke out-doer Matthew eagerly offered his house in Dallas, and our good friend Mike H with equal enthusiasm suggested his own home in St. Louis. If I had to guess, I’d say the most likely scenario is fall Fests in Utah (sparing Sandy and Wendy from having to travel every time) and the spring Fests at an alternate venue. I’ll keep people apprised.
We’ve definitely not locked it in yet, but I suggested the Fall fest be held the weekend of November 6th. When Godzilla Minus One came out I flew down to Dallas to watch it with folks, and with Godzilla Minus Zero due out November 6th it seemed pleasing to suggest the tradition continue. If the date holds and people are interest (and most seem to be), we could go see GMZ on Friday evening and then hold the Fest on the traditional Saturday.
