The Doctor Who channel on YouTube has finally added The Talons of Weng-Chiang, They added a “Discriminatory Content” tag (whatever), but hey, they haven’t memory holed it, so I’ll take it. Mashing up Sherlock Holmes and Fu Manchu, starring Tom Baker at his peak and with Leelah, one of his better companions, I always loved the show the most when the Doctor was on Earth fighting alien invaders, and the Victorian era setting is terrific. This is the stuff. It is a six-parter, so you might want to watch this in pieces.
