Sandy picked this weird Czech parody movie set at turn of the 20th century Prague. “Real” American old timey pulp detective Nick Carter is on the case of a missing dog. There’s a mad scientist and a stop motion killer plant. It’s…odd. It’s at least 20 minutes too long, and it’s got a vibe if whimsy you’re either going to enjoy or not. I can’t say I loved or hated it.
