Horror of Fang Rock is classic Philip Hinchcliffe-era gothic horror, basically a monster oriented version of 10 Little Indians. In the end, the alien menace turned out to the Rutan, a race oft mentioned (they were the military rivals of the much more prevalent Sontarans) but only ever seen here. Unless they have appeared in New Who, which frankly doesn’t even count these days. Anyway, the arc is posted for free viewing on YouTube.
