The Watch Party hadn’t had a monster movie in a hot minute, so I elected on Legend of the Dinosaurs and the Monster Birds. Sadly, due to budget issues now doubt, they put all the money into maybe the last ten or fifteen minutes and up until then it had a very ’70s fixation on some not really likable characters. Even at 95 minutes they probably could have cut out ten minutes or so. That said, the group made it a fun watch, and hey, they did have a lot of lovable prop monster stuff at the end. Sadly, it had a very ’70s ended that was both downbeat and drawn out and then just ended before we could confirm what happened to our seemingly doomed main characters.
