Happy (?) Monday, everyone. Friday’s Watch Party was the not quite goofy enough Girl from the Kremlin, which is basically They Saved Hitler’s Brain only with Stalin and sans the sci-fi elements. Weird cast; ex-Tarzan Lex Barker, Zsa Zsa Gabor in a duel role (!), and Patty Duke’s Day, William Schallert. It’s on YouTube on several channel, I’d suggest the copy on the Rob’s Dream Theater. It’s only 80 minutes and isn’t a lost gem, but it’s decent enough.
So…why Shin Godzilla again? Well, he’s coming back to theaters! Starting August 14th, I think this will be a full release, not just playing for a day as it did when I saw it. So here’s your chance to see it in all it’s glory. Like Godzilla Minus One, I don’t think there’s a dub, which is fine with me but, I know, annoying for others. Still. WELL worth a look.
