  • I had 32 Trick or Treaters, which is pretty good these days, especially for a school night. I’ve been trying to watch a bunch of stuff I hadn’t seen this year which meant half watching complete shitshows (Death Spa, The Cassandra Crossing) and half watching decent to quite good stuff (Burnt Offerings, Dark Night of the Scarecrow) plus one I couldn’t decide on a category for (The Devil Times 5). The first half qualifies under the shitshow category, but the second half is wonderfully deranged.

    It cost $700, which is not good, but I feared that we’d have to replace the car, so this was much less.

    I seem to have lucked out given how quickly they found the part they needed.

    Ah, the Cassandra Crossing. Still have fond memories of that one.

  • Honestly, it wasn’t as bad as its reputation suggests and the cast is quite good. Good model work as well. But that copout of an ending sure squandered any goodwill I had built up over the previous 2 hours.
