Heading to Texas tomorrow. Hope to see some of you there.

However, Watch Party night delayed again. My old friend Jeff is in town that weekend and will be staying at my place. So…two weeks from Friday, I guess. Feel free to watch party amongst yourselves.

    Only a hundred and forty-four pages for a dime? Why, in my day….

    I joke, but I usually pick up one of those king-sized Payday bars to toss in my flight bag before I go to the airport, just in case of delays or something. Then I saw they are going for $3 each now. $3! For a candy bar!

    Seriously, I do remember when candy bars were a quarter.

    You know the candies you can get at the dollar store? Five Hershey miniature chocolate bars in a package? They’re now $1.25.

    Those candy bars are a quarter each.

    I’ve seen some of those old pulps. Many of them, especially popular genres like Westerns, adventure stories, and romances, could get pretty hefty. You got a lot of story for your dime or quarter back then.

    Yeah. I just recently learned that a six-book paperback series I first saw in the mid-80’s was being republished. The price back then was $2.50 apiece. Now it’s $12.95.
