Monster of the Day #3453

OK, OK, here’s my dime already.

Don’t know why, I’m having problems with some of these thumbnails. Oh, well. Happy Wednesday, everyone.

There’s an artist who knows his audience.

  • NathanShumate

Yup — boys who learned all that they know about ladies’ underthings from the Sear Roebuck catalog.

Bob’s floor display job a Grace Brothers did not last long.

glass of water for Mrs Slocumb

  • Someone’s taking hanging around the place too literally

  • Gamera977

‘Hell Squad 7: Storming Hell’: After accepting an assignment to take out an enemy leader named Stan the Hell Squad finds out far too late that it was a typo. Actually their foes name is SATAN. Only the Spider can save those saucy warriors of HELL SQUAD!

  • Gamera977

And BTW watched the ‘Lost in Space’ episode ‘The Galaxy Gift’ tonight with special guest star JOHN FRIGGIN” CARRADINE!!!!

WOO HOO!!! Plus Carradine is wearing a bald cap and painted lavender as an alien- you can’t beat that by much for sheer entertainment value!!!

Also: Amazon Prime now has ‘COCAINE BEAR’!!! Please oh please Ken can we have that as a watch party!?!?!?

  • Eric Hinkle

I’m beginning to wonder if the Spider pulp was sold out in the open or if it was one of the ones set behind the counter and delivered in a plain paper bag.

  • Ken_Begg

Sandy loves to show people a scene from a Mexican horror film where the subtitles do that: “By the Power of Stan!”

  • The Rev.

I have since seen that movie, Don’t Panic. It’s a fun little slice of cheese with some effective moments, although the teenage protagonist wearing little boy’s pajamas for a good chunk of the movie is…a choice. Might be fun for a Fest, or at least the Friday night before one.

    “Do you believe in Stan?”

  • The Rev.

I’m actually glad you mentioned that! I didn’t think it sounded good enough for movie prices, but I’ll gladly watch it for free, even if Ken declines to show it (which I suspect he might).

  • Cocaine Bear was… okay? I enjoyed it at the time, but the memory of it does not astound.
