Happy (?) Monday, folks. I hope everyone is recovered from Baba Yaga. Anyway, time to start a new work week, although at least we have a holiday weekend coming up.

Well, I do, because I was able to take next Monday off. And a new anime season starts Saturday, so sweet.

    As to stupid over the weekend I watched ‘Bloodbath At The House of Death’ (1984) an insane Kenny Everett… um black comedy? Horror-comedy??? I dunno… Anyway it has Vincent Price as a cult leader with a bunch of incompetent followers. When they accidently set him on fire while trying to summon Satan is priceless. There’s a good print on YouTube.

    And as for not stupid ‘Enter The Fat Dragon’. Thankfully no relation to ‘The Fat Spy’. A comedy-action film with Donny Yen in a fat suit. Much better than I thought it would be. It’s actually funny and not surprising with Yen the fight scenes are fantastic. On Amazon Prime but I think it’s leaving in a week or so.

    Bloodbath has some surprisingly funny stuff, mostly courtesy (unsurprisingly) of Price. I didn’t find it as successful when it tries to turn to serious horror, though.
