OK, we ran through B-Fest 2021 (attended, again, only by the Chads). Today we finish up Julie and Tim Fest. Then it’s on to the second annual Basement Fest. I suspect that most of us will return to B-Fest next year, and that Basement Fest will also continue. Who knows, maybe Julie and Tim Fest as well.
Anyhoo, following Bad Taste (featured last week), we watched our third (!) musical, The 5,000 of Dr. T. It’s the live action Dr Seuss movie, and it’s great. The villain is Hans Conried, and he’s terrific. Then we wrapped up with our traditional giant monster movie. Nobody at Julie and Tim Fest attends our Watch Parties, and many of them did not grow up watching monster movies like we did. So I slotted in Gamera vs Guiron because, you know, it’s great. A perfect capper.
