I don’t know anything about this movie, 1999’s The Killer Eye (was Charles Band still making films in 1999?), but given the big hilarious Giant Eye prop, I might have to give it a look. On Amazon Prime.

    Basically, yes. I saw this in high school and even then found myself mostly bored by it, despite the “sexy” stuff*, the admittedly entertaining prop here, and a reveal near the end that will never not be hilarious. I haven’t seen it since, so I don’t know if I’d be more kind to it now, considering the tons of awful crap I’ve since watched, but I kind of doubt it.

    Apparently Charles Band directed a sequel in 2011 that I literally just found out about. And I am certain it’s awful but I am still morbidly curious.

    *There are some attractive ladies in lingerie, a couple of whom have to pretend to be intimate with a rubber tentacle. I recall a bit of nudity, as well. There are also two buff dudes in their underwear the whole movie, which will clue those in the know as to who the director was…as will the clearly obvious pseudonym “Richard Chasen.”
