I guess we could ‘honor’ Peter Bogdanovich by showing Voyage to the Planet of the Prehistoric Women next week. It is another Jabootu subject. I remember it was kind of a slog–although it was part of a three movie review–but there are dinosaurs and a great robot. Maybe some other time.You should all just be glad that At Love Last Love isn’t available. Stupid Blu Ray, selling out in like ten minutes before I heard of it.

RIP Peter Bagdanovich, though.  We’ll always have Targets, Paper Moon, Last Picture Show and What’s Up Doc.

    I did feel the first version, more or less a direct translation of the original, was a stronger movie.

    As a film, I think nearly everyone would agree with you. Now, would the film work as an object of mockery with 15 or 20 of us? Quite possibly.

    Sorry to hear it! Weird storm in that it largely bypassed Chicago and so on. When Atlanta has worse winter weather than Chicago, well, that’s something. Stay safe, everyone.
