A mask, or a Phantom of the Opera deal? Hopefully the latter, of course. Even so, damn, that’s another great screwball cover. Although…is that an art mistake that the Spider has his arm pinned? And man, I hope he’s wearing asbestos pants.

    I do like his crime fighting outfit though. I doubt I’d look good in spandex but I think I could look rather dashing in a three-piece suit, cape, domino mask, and nice homburg hat!

    Mister Begg, I hope you’ll post one of the relatively few covers that show the Spider as he was supposed to look (thanks to makeup) in the actual stories. Hunchback, wild hair, fangs jutting from his mouth, etc. No wonder everyone was afraid of him. Well, that and all the evildoers he killed, I guess.
