Monster of the Day #3053

This is one of the more obscure Corman films, at least it was for me. By which I mean that unlike, say, Attack of the Giant Leeches, this didn’t get a lot of TV play in Chicago back when I was a kid. I think I was in my 30s or 40s by the time I saw this. It’s fairly dark for a film of the period, and has its points of interest. Thrifty Corman, unsurprisingly, repurposed the monster suit for Teenage Caveman.

My brain just kept saying “RO-MAN”, and I couldn’t get past it. Had to Google search to see what this was. :-)

This was a pretty weird one, as I recall.

The Monster Who Talked the World to Death

I’ve seen it about a bajillion times on MST3K and yet weirdly I can’t remember the title.

I hope that knife is sheathed. Not a particularly safe place to keep it.

    “The Beast From Bronson Canyon”.

    ‘Blood Beast of Bronson Canyon’

Funny, by lunch I’d remembered the title…

No worries. He’ll have kids… lots of them when the Blood Beast implants him full of sea monkeys.

Off topic, but Ken said it was okay to plug the “cartoons” I’ve been developing for YouTube videos. A new one was just posted today, and A SLICE OF CARTOON LIFE serves as a good introduction to the Cartoon Cuties franchise I’ve been working on. I do hope you’ll check it out. And of course, any feedback would be quite welcome.
