A 2.5 hour Sex and the City movie? Oh, dear. I couldn’t stand the show at its normal running time…showing it at this length to prisoners in Guantanamo might be a real violation of the Geneva Convention. And yet somehow I know I’ll get dragged to see this by some date or other. Torture ahoy.

Well, thanks for the warning, Ken. Now I’ll know to be ready with the cyanide capsule.

If there’s a movie that needs to be epic length it’s Sex and the City (though in all seriousiness they probably just merged three unusued episode scripts from the old show).

    GYAH! Why, Hollywood, why?!

Did ANYONE want this? Even my parents, who were huge fans of the show, are reacting to it with indifference. The show resolved everything just fine in the series finale.

Thank God my wife hates chick flicks. She drags me to every zombie and slasher movie instead. Ironically I don’t really care for those, unless they’re bad in a funny way. Still, I would hate seeing this movie more.
