Or I’ve heard this one is pretty good but haven’t seen it. I did see a decent if not outstanding Krampus movie on Netflix last year. Sorry, I forgot the name. It was the one with the zombie elves.

BTW: My favorite new meme ‘It’s not Christmas until I see Hans Gruber fall from Nakatomi Tower.’

Cullen: You are correct. That was an anthology and the last segment has Santa vs. zombie elves and then a really well-done Krampus. I would agree that it’s pretty good.

Last year I intended to watch all the Krampus movies I could find, ending with today’s selection. Hilariously I never got to the last one. It worked out okay because I finally saw it earlier this month at the local Alamo Drafthouse, and that’s a movie that really deserves a big-screen viewing with the visual and sound work. It gave me del Toro vibes with its twisted fairy tale feel. I REALLY liked it. Might even say loved it. ACHS was easily the second-best of the Krampus movies. The other four were meh; really crappy; the sequel to really crappy that was even crappier somehow; and utter shit.

Went to see Aquaman. It kept reminding me of better franchises: Indiana Jones, Starwars, Karate Kid, How to Train your Dragon and even Jurassic World (Why have 30 seconds of Dinosaurs that have no purpose in the movie?).

Still a lot of fun, though!
