Monster of the Day #1851

Careful what you wish for.

    No mermaid problem here.

  • Beckoning Chasm

I guess it’s been a while since I saw this, since I don’t remember this monster.

I guess I thought the film had a clever concept, but that it wasn’t really explored much. Maybe I should see it again.

I don’t remember wishing for a wrestling match with Jabba the Hutt’s sister…

  • Eric Hinkle

He always wanted to end up in Ariel’s (from Disney’s ‘Little Mermaid’) arms. He didn’t think to ask if she looked different without the makeup.

And I hope we get to see the monstrous killer unicorn from that movie. “My Little Pony, My Little Pony, ah-ahhhh-ah — AHHHH!”

  • Ken_Begg

I really like parts of the film, but there’s a (literal) plot device so ridiculous and I find the ending so off putting and nihilistic that I can’t bring myself to love it. There are stretches when it’s pretty genius, though.

  • Gamera977

Please guys, just for morbid curiosity if nothing else what film is this from?

  • Acethepug

Cabin in the Woods, a really great film for most of its running time (the ending is really nihilistic, though).

Some of the monsters are really, really incredible.

  • Dorothy Cobb

Supernatural had an episode that contained a killer unicorn.

  • Dmitri Kozlowsky

I dunno. Something is fishy about all of this.
