DVD deal of the day…

I think it’s like 6%, or something like that. So…$1.20? Still, it’s money to me without costing anyone except Amazon a red cent, and in aggregate it covers our bandwith costs and part of my monthly Netflix subscription, again without costing anybody anything extra–unless they buy something at Amazon they could get somewhere else cheaper, and I would not advocate that.

It helps that I think Amazon is a pretty good company, and that sometimes, on some items, they have the best price. Couple that with their marvelous free shipping (Illegal in France!) and no tax, and it keeps my conscience from bothering me at night.

That said, I do try to pick the item I spotlight with an eye towards actual quality and value. The Fly Collection for $20 is actually a pretty good deal.

Eric, I would really appreciate it. If you’re buying stuff anyway, it’s really a win win situation.

If you ever plan to buy something major, I could even set up a direct link to that item, as that raises the percentage a tad. Obviously that only makes sense, though, if it were a big item, like a all season TV set or something.
