    What a wonderful science fiction epic. The sequence where various weapons are tested on the silicates starting with the smallest and working up to the more powerful is pitch perfect.

    Yeah, it’s one of those genre films that I don’t think gets enough love.

    The “snout” on the blob in the drawing there was all I needed to make the correct guess on what movie this was for.

    Lol, it was the tentacles and the axe in the NW corner that gave me the idea this might be what it was.

    It’s one of my favorites. The only major flaw is the creature effects. The design is great, but they look like stiff rubber. Terrific sound effects though.

    I’m a softie for rubber beasties, so I find them charming. But yeah, the sound effects are great.
