Monster of the Day #1357

Apparently teal IS the color of giant monsters in Europe. And now the abstract thing starts.

Whoa — this one looks way too friendly. Kinda like “Hi guys, let’s play!”

  • Two reactions:

Kid Cull: See? See? Godzilla is a good monster! He’s a dinosaur, and all dinosaurs are good no matter how radioactive they are! Forget how he hip checked that building into the old folks home and that giggle that escaped when he stepped on that bus full of orphans and nuns. He’s. Good.

    and

Adult Cull: Oh look! It’s Godzilla the Magic Radioactive Dinosaur, come to take little Jackie Paper on a mystical, magical journey through the cities of Honalee! Literally. Straight through them. Oh, the screams will be terrible! And will Jackie care? Of course not. Because Godzilla is a good monster! He’s a dinosaur, and all dinosaurs are good no matter how radioactive they are…

I think it would be great to see a crystalline Godzilla running around. It wouldn’t be frightening, it would be beautiful.

  • Eric Hinkle

What is the language of this poster? Czech? It reads like something from Eastern Europe.

  • bgbear_rnh

    Bing translator says Polish.

  • bgbear_rnh

How many Polish Godzillas does it take to change a skyline?

  • Space Godzilla?

  • Wade Harrell

Pfft, despite the color scheme and Godzilla’s apparently crystalline structure, he is still recognizable as Godzilla. This poster is quite logical by Polish movie poster standards, just google “polish movie posters” and you will see some truly batty imagery!

  • Flangepart

    Polish Sausage.

  • The Rev.

This one I’ve seen before. It’s pretty cool.

I shall also chime in on seeking out Polish movie posters. There are some really insane ones out there.
