    When looking at this picture of a death struggle do you think (a) “wow cool octopus”, (b) that’s a fine specimen of a man, or (c) this picture would be better if he was rescuing a half-naked woman

    Those are good- I was kinda hoping for (D) no man just a cute gal in a teeny-tiny bikini fighting the octopus though…

    Wow! Greatest cover art of all time! I can see why you saved this one for last! Almost looks like a scene that should have been seen in THUNDERBALL but didn’t make it….

    My first response was to note that the artwork is just about perfect. The level of detail is just right, the use of colors, the realism, it’s all there. I didn’t even notice the lack of pulchritude until you pointed it out!

    I think you mean blonde, not blond. Blond is the masculine form of the word, so that would be something more akin to Buster Crabbe.
