Well, that hadn't been on my list of sexual fears, but now that it's been raised, I guess? That particular one I may leave unmastered, though. Seems more trouble than it's worth.

Criterion Sales at Barns & Noble…

I'm staying off because I just dropped $400 at the recent Vinegar Syndrome sale, and have a thousand dollar home bill, and another thousand dollar car bill, and am going to visit a con in a couple of weeks, and...I'm not broke, but it's time to cut back for a while. Anyway, B&N every…

Monster of the Day #3539

As we can see from this, AIP's posters were getting a lot more sophisticated. Several films that year that had monsters of sorts--The Terror, The Haunted Palace--forwent them on the poster art to push more the Vincent Price or Boris Karloff angles. This one also is a bit of a cheat for us, but…

Watch Party tonight!

I do want to say, though, that the movie I'm showing tonight is normally not the one I'd be showing tonight, by which I mean right after School for Unclaimed Girls. It's not the same thing, but usually I really like to switch things up and so normally I'd be picking a goofy monster…

Having trouble with Imgur again. i couldn't upload a new image, so pausing the Corman poster thing. These are nice, though, and I already had it uploaded. The issue might clear itself up; it often does. In any case, Happy Friday! Have a great weekend. Watch something stupid. Perhaps with us tonight at the…

Monster of the Day #3536

I'd like to point out that this is not only a poster for an AIP film, and a Roger Corman film, but the cheapest AIP / Roger Corman film either entity ever made. The fact that AIP was counting on a hipster crowd for this film is pretty amazing. Although certainly the film warrants…

Monster of the Day #3535

Warning: Poster may be only 96% accurate. Back to work. Sigh. And the Fourth of July is a week from Thursday. Crazy. And...Watch Parthy this Friday? Right?

Monster of the Day #3534

I have to admit, I don't remember much about this one. Were there (stock footage) dinosaurs in it, or is this a really out there interpretation of the Night of the Blood Beast suit used as the film's "monster." I do know I was never the world's biggest Robert Vaughn fan, and even as…
