"Schnelle, Heinrich, der Flit!" This is a better poster, but it didn't go with the joke. Audiences of the time must have been pretty shocked when the monster showed up. Finally getting to see the Demon Slayer movie tonight, I'm very excited.

This one is no surprise to poster vets, as Germany seems to call *any* monster Frankenstein. Ironically, of course, since Frankenstein isn't even the name of a monster.  The craziness of the image indicates this is the Japanese poster with a new frame put around. It's a nice frame, though.

France clearly took it's giant monster movies very seriously. For instance, they obviously wanted to be certain that prospective ticket buyers wouldn't think Gorgo was that guy in the green jacket in the foreground.

So I spend the weekend re-watching Demon Slayer on Netflix because, yay, the movie is finally hitting theaters next weekend. I had pre-bought a ticket, but it looks like that might have been for a dubbed showing, so I'll have to cancel that and buy for one of the subtitled showings. I'm very excited.…
