I can't imagine anyone going to see Dr. Phibes and being disappointed, because it's great. Still, that poster promises a film that tonally is very different than the actual movie.

This Italian poster actually gives us one of the better looks at the monster than most of the foreign posters. I guess I admire the fact that they don't want to completely blow what is, after all, pretty much the film's climax. On the other hand, it's not good ballyhoo. Screw whether the patron…

Neat! Wow, late Thanksgiving means Christmas is rushing right up. Maybe this year I'll actually watch some of the tons of Christmas movies I've bought on DVD over the years.
