Monster of the Day #2001
Perfect timing, as my friend Matt will be showing 2001 in the beautiful Pickwick theater next Wednesday night, on a mammoth screen and with Keir Dullea making a personal appearance. Good work, Kubrick. It's nearly 20 years after your film was set and we still don't have a Howard Johnson's on the moon.
