KISS was an obvious choice, given their pedigree (partying on Halloween with Paul Lynde, fighting both the Phantom of the Park and Dr. Doom). It still seemed a little on the nose, those. I almost went with the Dead Elvi (whose music if more up my alley), but I wasn't sure their rockabilly sound…

This is easily the scariest band, since it reminds one of Jim Hensen's Dinosaurs and (blecch!!!) Theodore Rex.

Sad to see a band that relies so heavily on sax and violins.* Hat tip to Eric B for the suggestions, since I'm hopeless on music stuff. [*Given the photo, I assume I'm actually just stealing the band's joke.]

All the makeup, appliances and costumes are designed and created by the lead singer (Mr. Lordi, AKA Tomi Putaansuu), which is fairly impressive work.
