On an unrelated note, following yet another rain out yesterday, the Cubs are due to play two tomorrow.

What, Monday already?! The Cubs are playing .800 ball (!) after sweeping seven games this week from the Pirates and Nats. However, yesterday's 13 inning game ran five hours, so hopefully the team isn't utterly fatigued before starting tonight's game.

I usually try to avoid showcasing Syfy movies, but at least this one seems to have featured an actual guy in a suit along with, no doubt, the obligiatory soupcon of bad CGI.

This is exactly what the title promises. It's basically a Troma movie, with amped up gore and sex and broad humor. It delivers those things though, and renters will undoubtedly be happy with it. And hey, the monster isn't CGI. They announced a sequel a while ago, but it's been long enough I wonder…
